Robyn C. Donaldson, J.D., is a certified Mediator for the Center for Conflict Resolution (CCR) and the Illinois Municipal courts. During 2008, the Center for Conflict Resolution presented Robyn with the "Newcomer Of The Year" award for her mediation services. Robyn is a graduate of The John Marshall Law School in Chicago, IL and received her Bachelor’s degree in Journalism with a concentration in public relations from Florida A & M University in Tallahassee, FL. She has received Divorce and Performance Based Mediation training from CCR and Northwestern University School on Continuing Education in Chicago. Robyn’s areas of concentration are Divorce & Family Issues (non-marital couples, co-habitation couples, and same-sex couples), Landlord-Tenant, Adult Criminal Misdemeanors, Juvenile Criminal Misdemeanors, Community Issues, Business Disputes, "some civil cases", and Organizational Conflict Resolution.

During 2007, Robyn worked as a Global Business Development Consultant for the U.S. office of an international business. The company sources and imports disposable products from Shanghai, China and distributes them to domestic clients (many of which are Fortune 500 companies). Robyn researched sourcing opportunities for U.S. clients in China, Malaysia and India. She also created a social accountability plan for the company’s factories in Shanghai. Robyn reviewed contracts and assisted in registering the Shanghai office with the Chinese government. She participated in international trade fairs, representing the company nationwide and abroad in Hong Kong and Guangzhou, China. Robyn’s interests in conflict resolution, international law, trade and human rights developed in 2003 when she studied abroad at the University College London in England and at University of Western Cape in Cape Town, South Africa.

Robyn’s past work experiences includes: U.S. Department of Commerce’s Export Assistance Center, The John Marshall Fair Housing Clinic, BPI, Jewish Council on Urban Affairs, community organizing and Legal Assistance Foundation for Metropolitan Chicago. She was also chosen by the American Bar Association for a Judicial Externship in the Law Division at the Daley Center in Chicago. Additionally, Robyn has experience in speech writing, political fundraising and public speaking. During her spare time, Robyn enjoys traveling, yoga, cooking, learning Italian and volunteering in her community.
